5/1/09

Greyson used the phylactery to scry on the map for Mickey I think. It wasn’t really working. Ukab used a bowl with water in it to float the crystal and it pointed to the North East. That was led to the Isle of Liars, and went through a forest. We might be going all the way to Fort Landmilk. We took two more horses so we could each have one. I named my horse Horsie. I packed my stuff and put it on the horse. Luna got the puppies ready and set off. After two days we crossed the trail to Evelyn. We kept going and found some water and fairies. I followed the fairies because they were saying they wanted to show me something interesting, like monsters to kill. I took out my swords to be ready, and the infravision helmet on. We came to a clearing. The others were scared of it and wouldn’t go in. I kept going and was disappointed because I couldn’t see any monsters. I looked around for a secret door. I was walking around by the trees off the horse. I borrowed an axe from the cart so I could cut down a tree and see what would happen if I put it in the clearing. I hadn’t actually gone in the middle yet, because maybe there was something hiding there, and I wanted to make it come out. After chopping down the tree, I threw it in the clearing. It disappeared like it had been eaten. Greyson started to walk into the middle, but his foot was getting sucked into the muck. Then he said “Ow!” because his foot had gotten caught in something sharp. Ukab pulled him back out. Greyson foot was bleeding like a spike had stabbed him. Next I was trying to catch some of the fairies to throw into the clearing pit. Ukab was trying to shoot the fairies, but he shot me. We decided to leave that alone and started following the compass.

After following the compass for a while we came to a tree covering a hole in the ground. We cut the tree to roll it away so we could go down into the hole. It took a whole day we were done by morning. I went to sleep. But since we had cut the wrong side the tree, we couldn’t roll it away, and would have to cut it some more. Greyson dug out the hole to make it bigger so he could fit inside it. Then he tied a rope off to something and went down. I wasn’t very interested. I took my armor off and went back to sleep. Then they woke me up and we went back to Fort Berrek. Greyson’s foot got healed. We got the cart and returned the horses. Next we had to go do what the seer wanted us to do. We went to the Shinare temple to get sword from them. Then we went to Atar. It took ten days. I asked about the arena and signed up for it while Greyson donated a sword and shield made of stone for fighting dragons to the city. I had signed up for a fight the next week. Greyson got a day pass into the city. They came and got me and then we went in.

We walked around and saw a stable, a warehouse, the Visitor’s Center, and a bar called the Electric Death. We first went to the marketplace. Then we checked out the Electric Death. It was a nightclub kind of bar for drinking and dancing. We went in and there was a bar and grill in the middle. Gordon was the owner and Lindaraleen was the waitress. No one else was working there and there were like 400 customers. I ordered a bloody T-bone and water. We could see a fight. It only cost us one gold because we were first timers at the bar. Then we left and went elsewhere. The marketplace was very large, many miles long. We went to the Visitor’s Center and got a map. Then we went back to the market place and a Dwarven shop  for forge and supplies. Then we looked at the monster store, the Alchemy store and a bunch of other shops, but everything was very expensive. Johann sold the gloves of friction that we had and some other stuff and we got bunches of money. Then we went to the address we were given that we were supposed to go to.

We went in and sat on some chairs and a futon. A fabulous lady came in, her name was Pelora. She said she knew the seer, or he had given some message to her to give to us. She told us all about the Mickey threat, and she talked about the last time, and this time and confusing stuff. Our next destination was Hergen Goga’s island, and our contact was Brachias. Then we went back outside. I took my name off the arena list and we camped out. Pelora was going to send us a mage to help train Greyson to become a mage. He also wanted to fix his burnt up melted looking face that he covered with bandages. She told him the names of the gods that would likely help with that and where their temples might be. We went to sleep.

In the morning an elf woman mage came. She had aqua hair and blue eyes. Her name was Jelarin, we introduced each other. On the way to somewhere we stopped by in Aragorn. For some reason Ukab Johann wanted to go to the slave auctions to get himself a nice slave. So we went to the slave auction, and a beautiful girl with bright red hair who was 17 and a virgin was up there. The bidding for her was pretty high, but Johann wanted her badly. The price had gotten up to 4,600, which was most of our money when someone threw something at Johann. There was a guy trying to sneak attack me and I stabbed him and then I got hit by an ogre. Johann tried to hit the other guy who had thrown a knife. Johann had this cool sword that would suck the blood out of someone and he used that on the bad guy. Then Greyson helped us attack our enemies. The guy that Johann had stabbed ran around with the sword still in him, pumping his blood all over the place.

Then the crowd turned into a mob and we were getting crushed as the bidding kept going up. There was an explosion and people started running. There was a roar from the sky and a black dragon came swooping in. We had heard that the city of Aragorn was soon going to be destroyed by the dragons of Mickey, but we had hoped we would miss it. I saw the dragon and wanted to go attack it. One of the towers was starting to fall where we were. I tried to get the people out of the way, and finally I just took out my swords and then they moved. We got out of the way just as the tower came crashing down. It had been burned by the acid of the black dragon. Everyone was running the slave Johann wanted to buy and the auctioneer, in fact, the whole platform had been smashed by the building. I tried to taunt the dragon and get its attention, so it would come closer and I could fight it. The dragon did come and shot some acid my way. Wow that stuff really stings! My armor and swords got kind of melted. I wished I had thought that out better. Maybe I should have tried to jump onto its back from somewhere up high. Then I didn’t know where I was, I had gotten lost in the chaos and confusion. I found Johann and we looked for the others by the fallen tower. Greyson used his wand of evil eradication on the dragon and it fell and landed on top of the tower. It almost fell and then landed in another place and stomped on the tower with Luna and Greyson inside. When they came out they had the slave girl Corlana. We joined back up and got back to the cart and Jelarin. They were gone. We then proceeded to leave the terrible catastrophe. Johann told the slave girl he was her master. There were more dragons coming and an evil army. There were some more buildings that were falling. We started going North to get away. Johann tried to and couldn’t break Corlana’s chains. We went to find the puppies. They were near the abandoned cart. At noon I passed out.

I woke up some months later in Tyrluck. They told me of how they were trying to get to the island of Hergen Goga, and the portals with the goblins and how the slave girl had gotten Luna and herself raped by priests of Takhisis, and my earring of communication had been stolen. I took the earring of Luna or someone to talk to the evil guy who had stolen the earring Corlana had been using which was from me. He was patronizing to me and I was annoying to him and I was trying to get him to come and fight us so we could get it back and kill him, but he turned his side off and wouldn’t talk to me anymore. Then Greyson came back. There were some wounded and dead people from their encounter with Heirocan, and Luna wanted to go to the Mishakel temple which was a month away. Greyson didn’t want to go that far and he wanted us to finish the quest we had. He asked Jelarin the elf mage if she could make him fly to the island. She of course couldn’t do that because magic isn’t real. Then we went to a nearby town to ask where the nearest healers might be. We saw some refugees from Aragorn on the way. There was a guy among them who was a healer but since he wanted money and we didn’t really have any, he didn’t help us. It took a month to reach the Mishakel temple. Corlana and Johann were raised and Johann gave the temple some money.

I wondered if we would ever complete our quest. If we tried to meet Mickey and kill him, we probably wouldn’t succeed according to the seer and other people. Maybe because he was undead. There would have to be some sort of thing to undue their undeadness and make them like normal people and then we might be able to kill them. But the quests to get that to happen have been so roundabout and fruitless, and then when we were supposed to get something like the weapons of destiny, they were cursed already by Fenris because he knew all about it and wanted to stop us. I wanted to just talk to these crazy guys, they seemed to only want power from the world and weren’t even happy with that. Oh well, I went back into my coma and left the quests up to the other party members.

4/18/09

Chester and Kali fell asleep as we left to go to Aragorn. We stopped at the temple of Gillian, and on the road there were tolls to pay. Some guards though, Greyson told us were fake toll guards, so we fought them so we wouldn’t have to give them toll money when we didn’t have to and stop them from taking money from other travelers. I strung my bow. Greyson and Ukab were using their swords. I shot two times and missed. They then came to hurt me. The puppies were helping out fighting the bad guys. Four attacked me and I attacked two of them and went berserk. I attacked again and got hurt, all ripped up, I died then. Since I was in separate pieces they had to sew them together for Hattie back at Serenity to heal me. I had some scars from where they had to sew me back together.  It’s 5/28/02. We needed to go to a temple of Chislev to raise the puppies, because four of them had died. We got to where the temple was supposed to be. It was a cave and a bear came out. He went to the cart and ate some of our gorilla jerky. We talked to the bear and told it that we needed to get the puppies healed. They were healed.

Next we went to Morgand to sell some stuff. We went to the courthouse and turned in stuff to get 75 gold. We looked at the wanted posters and there was a guy that had 400 gold bounty. Next we went to Aragorn to the Silk Glove Inn. I jumped in the jacuzzi in the Inn. Ukab did too. There was a knock on the door. Greyson went to get it. An elf guy then appeared in the jacuzzi tub with us. He wanted the crystal because he was the one we were supposed to give it to for him to enchant it. He wouldn’t give us his name so we called him Jacuzzi Elf Guy. In the morning we went to Perfectly Legitimate Business Enterprises. There was a caravan going to Trinsk, it would leave this place at noon. We looked for the Wolven Mercenary. We found him and walked over. He knocked me over and asked if I was a priest. He had a long spiky sword. Then he cut himself and told us he needed to get healed. He barked at the sky, and then Greyson gave him a healing potion. The weirdo wolven’s name was Slash. He was going with a caravan to Scavender. We went to go check when we were going to leave. The guy in charge of the caravan was a Drow. There were ten other guards and they were leaving today. We hung out with the other guards.

We left with the caravan going to Scavender traveling with Slash and the Drow leader. When we got to a place with guards asking for the toll, the Drow told us to attack. I figured they were fake guards so I attacked and helped kill them. We went on to a fort to rest. Slash slept cuddled up to Greyson in the night, probably because Greyson was the one who gave him the healing potion. One of the other guards was a half Orc, another was a dwarf. We killed more toll bandits on the way. An arrow hit our cart, and an elf in green and brown armor ran away. He was the bowman. The Drow told us to chase the elf, so I did. But in the forest a net came up around me trapping me! I got in a position to where I could cut the net and then I did. The other people ran away from the caravan too. Greyson came by while I was still trying to cut parts of the net. I was using my swords. He tossed me a knife so that I could cut the net more easily. It gouged my leg, but I used it cutting the net anyway. I climbed down. Greyson was gone by then. I went back to the road, but it had been attacked and the wagons were on fire and smashed. I went to find the other party members. Also I was looking for our enemies. I climbed up a tree to see better and I could see some Wyverns attacking the caravan. I got out my bow to shoot at it. Luna, Greyson and Ukab brought out their bows to shoot at it too. The wyvern got killed. There were some zombies came out of the ground, maybe they were Wights.  Then there was an explosion and all the wights were dead. There were no more enemies so I climbed down the tree. The other trees lit up because of the fire. I went back to the caravan, and we got what we could and kept traveling to Scavender. When we got to Scavender it was being attacked by dragons. The other mercenaries and caravan guards started to attack the civilians and the city guards. There were some bad guys in red armor who were also hurting the innocent civilians. We went to go kill the bad red armor guys. Or at least that was my plan. First we went to the courthouse where some civilians were holed up defending the area against the bad guys. We jumped of f the cart while running into the blocade of bad guys and I started stabbing and slashing the bad guys around me. There were two guys close. Luna was with the horses, Greyson was helping me hurt the guys in red armor. Johann/Ukab was hurting them too with his axe. The guys in red armor were ogres we found out. I knocked on down and moved on to the next one. He hit me and I went berserk. I hit him and kept on fighting. I saw a gold dragon get knocked to the ground near us. There was a dragon or two in the sky and the gold dragon had been defending the town. I stopped berserking then and I could lick the blood off my blades and crawl back to the cart.

The gold dragon asked for Johann and Greyson to climb inside his mouth. Johann jumped in the dragon’s mouth. I thought that maybe it would help heal him? Luna moved the cart away from that area. Then a red dragon came by and threw fire at the whole area and Greyson got burned real bad. The cart was falling apart as we moved away. I had to hold onto the cart and Luna bandaged me so that I would stop loosing blood. We could see that the gold dragon was dead. Johann was still inside it. Then he came out all wet with dragon juices. Then a guy from the area named Bob helped Johann carry Greyson out of the wreckage.  We put everything we could back into the broken cart and got away from that place. We went to Aragorn and stopped at the temple outside of it so we could get healed. Bob and Slash the Wolven came with us. He was apparently addicted to getting healed by priests. After I was healed I tried to fix the cart. Johann and Greyson had foufn a magic sword or something and some magic stuff from the city hall. I offered Greyson my helmet to cover his melted face after he got healed, but he declined, and wrapped bandages around it instead. Luna and Greyson then went to Aragorn to give a message to JEG (Jacuzzi Elf Guy). I looked for supplies to fix the cart. The wolven Slash used to think he was an Elven princess, but now he would insist that he was a halfling. I decided I wanted to forge new platemail.  I could get a horse to ride on too. When they came back we were going to go to Fort Berrek. We also still needed to go to a special temple for Greyson to improve his horrifying appearance. On the way to the fort we killed animals and cured and smoked the meat and made some more furs so we could have more supplies. We got a new cart that was just for one horse. We cut up the old cart and used the wood planks. Luna rode on the free horse. I drove the cart.

We got to Fort Berrek and they set up the Gillian temple. Slash had stayed at Aragorn. I looked for a forge to make some platemail and extra weapons. Maybe I would make some platemail for Ukab Johann too. A horse could carry my stuff in saddle bags. I took a few days to do that. Greyson went looking for the Zivilyn temple for 8 days, andthen he came for Luna who had the map. They got the magic items identified. I got a red dragon helmet of infravision and an earring of communication. I finished making my nice platemail armor and I gave 35 gold (all I had) to the smith for letting me use his forge and for the metal. I also made Johann some platemail. We got a new cart and some supplies and that was that.

3/28/09

We were going to the temple of Gillian. The diplomat we brought with us from Fort Berrek we sent in. We had them check our weapons of destiny, but they couldn't figure anything out, and we talked to Trevor the halfling priest guy and told him about Fort Berrek coming back which he found interesting. Anyway then we were going to go to the Wolven territory and the Mythal inside it because the temple of Gillian didn't have those cult of the dragon books that we thought we had left with them. It must have been the other time line that we did that. So we traveled for two weeks until we got to the closest place near the Mythal outside of Wolven territory. I wanted us to stay at the border and talk to the Wolven when they came by. I was jumping across the border and back and making funny faces, and waving a white flag next to my sword which I waved to show them how I could make them nice weapons. The others went in, and then they came back. Luna cooked some meat for us to eat. After two days of waiting and seeing no Wolven and them not even letting us know if they were watching or not, we decided to go in anyway. Before we went in Kendra asked if she could use one of the horses to get away if a battle occurred. Luna said she could as long as she came back when it was over. So we went in and after a day and a half of traveling towards the Mythal we met up with a band of ten Wolven who wouldn't talk to us, but just threw their javelins at us. Luna turned the cart around so that the horses wouldn't be in danger, and I got a javelin that we had from the Wolven, and then I realized the bow would work better, so I got that out and shot at them when they were close enough. Luna and some others were shooting arrows at the Wolven as well. When the Wolven were close enough I planned to use my swords, but they all were aiming their javelins at me and pierced me through multiple times. I was knocked out.

I woke up at the temple of Gillian where they had healed me. They had gone in the Mythal, gotten the books from the Mythal and killed the Wolven they had encountered. Three of the puppies had gotten killed and Chester too. Greyson yelled at Kendra about how she had run away when the fight came and told her that she should do her job, and he was calling her a coward and all sorts of bad names to make her feel bad when she really had no obligation to even be helping us the little bit she was. I remembered all the times she had healed me, and we weren’t even paying her or anything, so I defended her and said that it wasn’t her “job” to help us, she didn’t have to help us if she didn’t want to and we should be grateful for her even to be willing to travel with us at all and heal us when she could. It’s not like she could have helped in the fight, she might even have been knocked out, and then how would she be helping us? Anyway, it upset Kendra and she left us.

We sold the books they had found in the tower besides the dragon cult books. Then we went to Aragorn to turn in the Dragon cult books. It took five days to get there. The fancy Inn we had been at last time was called the Silk Hand. Chester and Kali took us to a building to turn in the books and get the 1,000 gold. Ukab told me we could find child molesters so I went along instead of being distracted by other things like searching for the rabbit owner guy’s house and friends and Walter the guy who had told Baku and Greyson to go to the dark place where they were taken advantage of to feed the evil bunnies. Anyway, the guy they gave the book to was very happy. We decided to try and sell some of our extra stuff. At a furrier’s stall they tried to sell the white gorilla pelts and the furrier let us know that there was a price on our heads for having killed the gorillas. Luna took the cart and was leaving. We went along with her out of town. On the way out Greyson spotted the building in which he had Baku had been ambushed, but we kept going.

Next we went to the temple of Zivilyn which was in the forest. First we came to a house. In front of the house I saw a squirrel. I said to myself, “It better not be Skitters.” Then it talked and told me not to go in. I was going to go and knock at the door, but first a giant butterfly came and talked. It wanted us to put our weapons away. There was a waterfall in front of the door, and it parted when we went through, except for Chester who was still carrying his sword and wouldn’t put it away or put it in the cart. He stayed behind. Inside there was an old Halfling woman. We told her that we had completed the job in the Scrawyu river area with the four armed white gorillas. She said she knew and that I had had cancer,(whatever that means) and now we had already gotten our reward we were just here to say thank you. We went back outside and found that a wheel or axel on the cart had broken and we would have to carry the cart now. We traveled to Fort Berrek where they were still rebuilding the place. It was the beginning of April now and the weather was nice and spring like. I wanted to use the forge to fix the cart, but the smith said he would fix it if I made some nails for him. We all took some nice bathes, and donated extra metal to the smith.

Next we went to Evelyn. It was three and a half days away. We were looking for the orb or the seer. The mirror in the Mythal that they had looked at and talked to our other selves in had told us to go to a warehouse in Evelyn that would have a message from the seer. I wanted to look for a forge to make some plate mail armor in. The foreman in the warehouse wouldn't tell me where the forge was though. Greyson and the others kept going around the warehouse building looking for the seer orb. The foreman came out and was angry that we were hanging around. Greyson talked to him and tried to let him let us look around, but he said no and we had to leave. I told him I wanted to help with the work of logging but he said no. We came back at night to look, but the foreman was there still and Greyson paid him 70 gold to let us look around. We looked and searched the warehouse but couldn’t find anything. We looked for secret doors and swept away the sawdust, Luna and I stomped on the ground. We decided to look on the roof then, and Chester and Ukab used rope and a grappling hook to go up in the rafters. I went outside to look around. Then Ukab yelled quesadilla. It was the secret word to let the foreman tell us where to go apparently. Why didn’t he use it before then if he knew a password that we had been told? The foreman told us to come back in the warehouse and he went to a wall and said some weird words that opened a secret passage. There was a concrete cave tunnel and then a room with a pillar and a golden orb that activated when someone touched it or when we came in. It showed the seer, an old baggy elf, and he told us the story of Mickey, they needed to find a champion, but left before the trial was complete. We need to enchant a phylactery with a jar of mythal we’ll find at the Silk Hand Inn in Aragorn. Also we needed to go to PLBE (perfectly legitimate business enterprises) something about the Wolven, and he cautioned us not to become mercenaries.

So now we needed to go back to the mythal to get the phylactery from the dragon, do him some service or something. We traveled there and got past the Wolven territory fine. It took two weeks to get there, it was the end of April now. We went to the castle that had the dragon in it and could see the door was knocked down. We left the cart behind to go in some passages. We used the broken door to make a bridge across a short chasm. We came to the chamber of mythal, the pool of radiance. There used to be a crystal in the middle, but it was gone. The stand for it was still there though. We checked the other doors in the room, we went to a set of double doors, but it was filled with rubble, nothing to find there. Then we went to check another door. On the way, in the middle where the stand for the crystal was Ukab kicked the platform. Then we all got shocked. I took off my boots to see if that make lessen it, but it didn’t so it wasn’t the metal we were wearing. I put my boots back on. Greyson looked a bit like there was blue light coming off of him. We checked another door that had no doorknob. Kali kicked it and I pushed. Ukab used a crowbar, and then a grappling hook on it to try and open it. We got it open and then Luna and Chester came back because they had fallen asleep. Anyway it led to a big cave, big enough for the dragon. It looked like there used to be a dragon treasure here, there were gold flecks on the ground, and 165 gold left. We looked around for secret doors and Greyson found the crystal phylactery.

Ukab went back to the cart to get the jar of mythal for some reason. He came back and wanted to put the crystal in the jar, but I had a bad feeling about it and told everyone. Chester grabbed the crystal then, but Ukab tried to stop him. I told Greyson to touch the crystal. It felt like there might be an ambush or something bad would happen. Then Ukab just put the crystal in the jar of mythal which they had opened. I heard an electric guitar note amped up and then everyone fell down but me. I couldn’t tell why. I looked at the crystal in the jar and picked up the jar and dumped it out. I put the lid back on. Then I poked the people, but they were unresponsive. I picked up Luna and carried her back to the cart, then I went back and got Greyson and carried him to the cart, then I went back and carried Kali to the cart, then I went back and got Ukab and carried him to the cart, then I went back and carried Chester to the cart. Then for the last time I went back and got the crystal, filled the jar back up with mythal using a rope to let down, I closed it and carried everything back to the cart. I tied the people on to the cart so they wouldn’t fall off. I got the horses to go to the edge of the mythal. The puppies were sad that Luna couldn’t talk to them. At the edge of the mythal I looked around for the Wolven so I could talk to them and ask them to let us out. I motioned towards them to come here when I spotted them. They came and talked to me, they asked me to show them the contents of the cart, so I turned it around and showed them. They didn’t want to come in the mythal because then they would loose their fur and look stupid. I knew this so I figured they wouldn’t try to kill me while I was on the inside. When they saw the people in the cart the leader told me that he would let me go to bury my dead. I was surprised, I hadn’t known that they were dead! I was sad and surprised but thankful that he would let us go. I think the Wolven don’t mind getting people out of their territory, they just don’t want us coming in, so if we’re already in, it’s easier to talk to them and be friendly. I talked to them as they escorted me out. I told them about how I get lost easily and they showed me the way. They said they kill people who visit them because they don’t want to have any business with other people, they don’t want to have wars, and they just want to be by themselves. I got to the edge of their territory and remembered if I would go north it would lead to a road that would lead to a town.

It took three weeks to get to Serenity. I went to go see Hattie the old lady who is with Mishakel. There was a good looking Ogre guarding her place who went in and told Hattie about me coming while I waited. His name was Sugarblossom. He let me in and I drank some tea with Hattie and she healed my friends. I told her thank you. Next we went to Aragorn to get the crystal enchanted or something.

3/15/09

Baku twisted the necks of the baby gorillas. Then we skinned and started to cure the hides and meat of the gorillas. Then we could hear other gorillas coming who had been brought by the smell of their burning dead comrades. Greyson fell asleep. We had all the dead gorillas in a pile. I took out my swords to kill the gorillas when they came. They came swinging in the trees swarming towards us screaming and howling. It seemed like there were between six and sixteen of them. Luna had her bow out and was shooting at them as soon as she saw them. We all started fighting. I accidentally broke one of my swords when I swung it too hard at a gorilla. Oh Noes! It was snowing, and random clumps of snow would fall down. Then one of the gorillas got Baku and me and started pushing us towards a tree. I hit it with my free sword and it let me go, but Baku got smashed. Greyson and Chester also got knocked out. I then was attacking the gorillas with just my one sword. I think I killed about three or four of them then I got knocked out. There were only three left then, and only Kali was left to kill them.

I woke up back in Fort Berrek and my face and skin were beautiful again. Fort Berrek had come back and was back at the beginning again with upside down buildings and stuff. Greyson had woken me up, he said I looked better, and I felt younger, I was a virgin again… weird. We found Luna and she was all fixed too, no more burn scars. I checked myself to see what supplies I had with me. I only had normal clothes on and no supplies, no swords, no armor, no jerky, nothing! We looked for Baku, Jessica, Buttercup, Chester and Kali. Baku was gone, we couldn’t find him, but we found Buttercup who was happy. We found Jessica too, and she was fine and didn’t care about us. Luna wanted her puppies, but we didn’t see them or know where they might be. I got my stuff from my room in Fort Berrek which was all sideways. Luna got a cart and a horse and put supplies in it and I put my extra stuff in it. Then I helped with the people who were hurt and stuck under buildings, I could lift the debris out of the way. They were helping the people and I wanted them to start building a wall again, but I think it was Greyson who said that walls don’t work against dragons, so I didn’t try very hard, I just said it once.

A couple of days passed while recuperating. It was late Winter. Then we met up with the Duke and he mentioned how were the only group he could spare to go track the goblin army and he was worried about what the goblins were doing. But I already knew he was going to say that because that’s what he said all the other times we came back and it was making me CRAZY!! Luna laughed at the look on his face when I told him that he had said the same thing the last three times! I said

“I know you think what I’m saying is crazy. By the way, who is the captain this time?” He was confused by the “this time” part, but said Greyson was. I yelled at him “Again? Last time he was too, but the time before that I was!”  He decided to ignore my crazy comments and continued. He acknowledged that yes, there were only three of us, so he was sending Baku’s cousin Ukab with us he was from another squad or something. He looked a bit like Baku. There were four of us sent out to tracks the goblins. Luna let the duke know that she had taken the supplies she wanted because she didn’t want to wait this time. Then we left with the supplies to go track the goblins, but this time Luna was our only tracker.

Before getting too far we looked for the wand again, but it was the same as last time we went there, Fenris had gotten the spear. There was a hollow stick filled with water that I broke, but we couldn’t find the wand. Oh and they said it was February 14th now, about two weeks after we’d been fighting with the gorillas. We followed the goblin tracks but they were about a year and a half old, so we hadn’t traveled in time this time, just Fort Berrek had. Luna started redrawing the map. We went back to the fort and told the duke about the trail being old. He found that weird, but moved on to the next priority; he wanted us to get supplies for the fort to rebuild it. I told him how it would only take them a week to rebuild the forge. But that was how long it took me to fix it after the dragon attack, so I might’ve been wrong. So we went to Kupponnell to get supplies for the fort. On the way we had to pay tolls on the roads, and Greyson used the money the Duke had given him. Greyson gave a diplomacy letter to the mayor and then he went to talk to the elf who had sent supplies to fort Berrek last time. I wanted to go to a bar with Luna and get drunk. Greyson gave the bar some of the money the Duke had given him so I wouldn’t have to pay for the beer. Besides, I had no money because we came back with nothing.

Next we were going to the fort by the Scrawyu River where Greyson wanted to give them a diplomatic letter. On the way we heard the puppies yapping and we found Kendra waiting by the cart for us and sounds of battle farther in the forest. Now we had two carts and horses. Kendra asked if we had finished off the gorillas and I told her that we had. Then we investigated the sounds of battle. A gorilla was throwing someone who looked like me at someone who looked like Luna and they looked dead. It was people who looked like us getting beat up by the gorillas. Kali was still fighting and Chester was still alive, but the fake uses were dead. Luna shot the last Gorilla. I took the stuff off the person who looked like me and got my stuff back. I picked up Kali then and carried her back to Kendra to get healed. When we’d gotten everything we went on to the Scrawyu fort to deliver the letter. I made the two wagons into one. We went back to the fort then. We got back all our maps from the dead people who looked like us. We also got the weapons of Destiny and the jar of Mythal. Then we went to the temple of Gillian for the dragon cult books that Chester and Kali had been hired to get out of the mythal for 1,000 gold. We had already gotten those books and given them to the Gillian temple so we planned on getting them back and getting a Gillian priest to go set up a temple in Fort Berrek like in the past.

3/14/09

We were at the Mishakel temple that was six hours away from Aragorn. After we all got healed we decided to go to the temple of Gillian to ask them about where a temple of Zivilyn might be to get Luna and my skin fixed, and to see if they knew anything about the weapons of Destiny. On the way I paid the 5 gold toll, and we stopped at Fort Berrek, or the remains of it anyway. We needed to have armor and weapons and supplies. Baku and Greyson had lost all their stuff, so I planned on making them new stuff. I found the remains of the forge in the fort and started rebuilding it. Most of it was still intact, but I still needed supplies, so the other went out to get supplies. It took a week to rebuild, and January came. Greyson helped with the forge. I’ve been wearing my helmet since the burning so that people don’t have to look at my melted face, and Luna has been wearing her hood to cover her face. I made a longsword and chain armor for Greyson, and iron knuckles and then leather armor for Baku. He made some dye to color the leather whatever he wanted. Then Buttercup came by. She said she had left the fort, and when she came back it was all burnt and the people dead. Luna had her look at one of the weapons of Destiny. Buttercup said there was something scary in it and it was bad. But she didn’t know what was bad about it.

Now we wanted to go to the Zivilyn temple, so we went to the Gillian temple so they could tell us where a nearby Zivilyn temple was. Jessica gave them her money for the information and she also decided to stay behind and study their books. Then we left and Luna had it marked on her map now. The temple of Zivilyn was in the woods, and we had to find it amongst the trees. We talked to a priestess named Sheryl who was a halfling and told her why we were there; to fix our skin that got burned. She said that yeah, Zivilyn did that rebirth stuff, and fixing our skin would be that. But we needed to do a quest for them first. Near the Scrawyu River there were some white four armed gorillas upsetting the balance of nature and they wanted us to get rid of them, either kill them, or get them to leave. On our way there we met two fighters on the trail. They were willing to join us. Their names were Chester and Kelly, and they needed help getting books about the cult of the dragon that was only to be found in the mythal in the middle of Wolven territory.

We got to the river, and about a hundred feet in we set up a pit trap, very big, about twenty feet wide, and with scarecrows in the middle that we put pee on to lure the gorillas. It took three weeks to set up. We waited a day after it was set up for the gorillas, but they waited till the second night to come. I was sleeping. They woke me up from my nightmare. Two jumped in the pit with the scarecrows and fell in on the pointy sticks. I got my weapons out, and they were coming from my side of the pit. Three came to attack me while the others went to attack my friends. Luna was shooting them, as well as Greyson. I cut two of mine up pretty good, and Kelly and Chester were doing really well. It was nice to have six people fighting.  Two tried to grab me, and did, but Greyson attacked one and it died because it was already hurt, and then I got the other one. We killed all but one who ran away. So we’d gotten seven so far. Luna estimated that there would be between 20 and 30 of them total in a tribe. Kendra came then and healed me and the other hurt people. Baku burned up the trap and some of the gorillas. We made pelts from those that could be salvaged and jerky. Baku was tracking the gorilla who ran away when the puppies started barking and Luna could see another gorilla in the trees. Then a bunch were coming and we tried to shoot them from the river, but it was hard, and then they ran away. We chased them and then shot them some more.

Then night fell and we went to sleep with watches. It was raining. Later, Luna tracked the gorillas. I followed right behind her. She stopped when she saw one and shot it. No one else could spot it. It died then and called out for help from its gorilla friends. Then more gorillas came and we fought those two. I accidently shot Luna, but not too badly. I got out my swords, and then we went further to find more gorillas running away, four with the babies. We attacked and killed them all. We have killed fourteen so far.

2/28/09

Greyson woke up and came into the trap room with us. Sammy fell asleep. Jessica snuck through the strings and got to the other side. She went down the hallway that we could couldn’t get to and pulled some levers. Jessica came back and got a torch from Luna to see her way in some dark area ahead. Baku took the grappling rope that we had hooked around a string and tied it very tightly to a pillar to see how it affected the trap. It activated once and not again. Then Jessica came back and fell asleep. Then we remembered about the other entrance, so we left and got into the caves that way. Baku went ahead to scout the way. He came back and carried the torches forward. Got to an audience chamber the one where the white dragon was scared of me. We checked it out and even went into the secret door, but it looked like the goblin army hadn’t gotten here yet. We went to the open air cavern with the dragon treasure, but we didn’t take any. We found Obald’s room, but it didn’t have nay of his stuff. We found a dead hooker in his bead though. Baku wrapped her in blankets and then burned her, sort of like a burial. Went to another secret door, and kept the door open with a rock. I came to a door that wouldn’t open and I had to kick it to get it to open. There was a rusty blade keeping it shut. This was where the golems were. Baku tried the words rheumatoid arthritis and then Metabolic, the second worked and brought the golems to life. We let them go past us and they separated and went in different directions to guard the area. There was no one there, so we left and went back to Heidelberg to get the cart, horse, and puppies. We also took the baby Polar Owl Bear with us so we could sell it somewhere. Baku and Greyson also went and checked the frost giant cave. In Heidelberg they sold the baby Polar Owl Bear for 75 gold. It was getting sick because it needed to be in a colder area. Our next point of direction was Darokin.

First we went to Serenity to check on Kendra because it was November now. We watched her graduate and she came with us happily. At Darokin they inspected our weapons, apparently looking for magical items or something. We went in to get supplies and lodging. We only stayed one night though before going out to the forest with Dryders. Luna was supposed to know where to go to find the seer spot, but she got lost. It then got dark and we set up a tent and took watches. Baku woke us up in the middle of the night to tell us that Dryders were watching us, but since they weren’t attacking we went back to sleep. In the morning we went back outside the forest and started over again to look for the right spot. Luna still couldn’t remember where to go, but Greyson thought it might be in a certain direction, so we followed him. We found a burnt clearing, and no green rock. There were Dryder bones and the seer was there pointing at something. We found the hole he was pointing at and went down. We went down the path and came to a round room with a pedestal. There was a golden globe on the pedestal. The seer told us to go to the Ice Mountains by eagles and told us the passwords were rheumatoid arthritis and metabolic. He also told us that the water down her in that pool would cure the venom from the Dryders. We got out and saw a Dryder going to the cart. When it saw us it ran away. I yelled after it that it was a coward. So we got out of the forest and went back to the town. We bought some wood so I could construct some puppy steps on the cart so they could get back on if they fell out.

Baku wanted to go to the Syrian temple which was out of our way. But there was the temple in Atar which was sorta on the way to fort Landmilk. We left Darokin and stopped at Atar so Baku could go to the Syrian temple and give them the golden globe. They in return gave us a free ride in one of their boats on the river to get to Fort Landmilk faster, and then the Isle of Liars. We went to the docks and found the ship and captain who were taking us to the Isle of Liars. He was a Syrian priest dude. He told us that once we reach the Isle of Liars he would wait in the ship for us for one day. It took one week in the ship to get there.

We landed on the Northeast side and went to shore. We looked for the cave with the seer, but Luna couldn’t remember where it was. We looked and went south on the eastern side back in the ship. Then someone noticed that something like a whale had just gone under the ship. Luna saw a monster. Baku saw fire on the ocean, a small cave with torches. We got on a rowboat to go check out the cave. I noticed that the cave was bobbing. I mentioned it to everyone, but Baku wanted to go in anyway. Then the others noticed too, and Baku came back and we decided to go back to the ship. It followed us. Then we went back to the island and found the cave. We went into the cave, and touched the golden orb to activate the seer message. It told us about how we should have found out what to do with the mythal from the mirror that shows other versions of us. We’re marked for death, we should destroy the keystones. Then we left the island. But before we left we went to check out one of the shipwrecked ships and Baku set it on fire. Enormous spider came out. We could hear a woman screaming inside and then dying, but we knew it wasn’t really a woman it was the sea hag that had tried to kill us last time when she came out. Then the ship collapsed. The spiders ran from the burning ship to the other abandoned ship. Greyson and I were by the rowboat and defended it from the burning spiders. We wanted to get the treasure from the other ship, but there was no treasure. We went back to the ship, and then back to Atar.

At Atar I wanted to do some forging, make something. I asked and a guy told me where to find a forge. Greyson came with me to help me not get lost. But the guy who told me where to go had told me to go to a forgery shop, not a forge. I asked the forgery guy where a forge was and he pointed one out farther down the lane. We went down that way and Greyson got lost, but I didn’t. There was a dwarf who was the blacksmith, and he said he wouldn’t rent his forge out to me. He used his forge for himself, but he suggested I take a bath, and told me where the bath house was. Then I looked around the city and started to get lost, when the others found me and went back to the cart. We then went to Aragorn to check out the Destiny weapons and see if they were cursed or not and if we could use them. On the way there we met some fake guards who wanted us to pay them a toll. We refused, and I intimidated them, but they weren’t scared enough, so we had to fight and kill them like I said we would. There were six of them. Luna was in the cart shooting them, Greyson, Baku and I were fighting close up. Well, first I shot some arrows at them, then I got berserk and used my fists. Then they were running away because Greyson was beating up their leader. I was almost knocked out. Luna shot those that were running away. Kendra was with us and when it was safe she came to heal me which was very nice. The guy I’d been fighting, when he tried to run away I grabbed him and stopped him. We got all six of the guys. Two of them were our captives, the others I think were dead. Oh, and the puppies got all excited and attacked the fake guards too. We got 250 gold fro m these guys and sold their armor and swords which added up to 285. Then we looked for a healing temple, but Aragorn only had magic useless temples. I fixed the cart because the puppies had pulled off a part of it that they had been latched to when they ran out to attack the fake guards. We burned the dead bandits.

Someone went into Aragorn with one of the Destiny weapons to find out what they could about it. After I fixed the cart I set up the tent and cooked some food supplies over a fire. Baku came back and said he couldn’t get into the city, probably because it was nighttime? Well we decided to go to an Inn, a very nice place that was expensive, and had guards outside and free Jacuzzi and massage for Baku who paid them the money fro m what we’d earned from the bandits. We went to sleep. In the morning we woke up around 10:00. Kendra healed us if we weren’t good to go. We got our stuff together. Baku wanted to torture our prisoners. I picked up the younger one Darren who wasn’t the leader and Baku was denied his torture.

We then left and put Todd, the leader bandit went in the cart all tied up with Luna and Kendra. The closest Mishakel temple was six hours away. We got the bandit guys healed, but not all he way because Mishakel doesn’t like them. Baku and Greyson had stayed in the city to find out about the Destiny weapons. We were waiting for them, but they didn’t come meet us. We waited four days until we decided they probably needed help and we would have to go save them. I asked the Mishakel people if they could heal them when we brought them back and they said sure. We went back to Aragorn with our cart and everything and asked people if they had seen Baku or Greyson. Luna tried to get the puppies to find them for us, but they didn’t seem to know how. Then my puppy, the named Puppy was attracted to a rabbit vendor place where a guy was feeding his huge bunnies meat. I talked to him and he wanted to sell some rabbits to me. Puppy wanted to eat the rabbits, and was also interested in the crate of rabbit food which was meat that he had. I asked him what he fed the rabbits and he was proud of feeding them tasty meat that made the rabbits better. I went and told Luna and how he was crazy, and it wasn’t right, rabbits weren’t supposed to eat meat!  I looked at the crate and it was quite big enough to fit a person in it, two people if you squished them. Luna and I went to an Inn and left Kendra and the puppies in the night while we went to investigate the rabbit vendor’s crates. We went to his warehouse which was attached to his actual house, and I tried to open the locked doors with a crowbar, but it wasn’t working. Then we tried picking the lock, breaking the lock on the house. Some teenager boys came by and flirted with us and offered to help open the door. One of them picked the lock. Then the rabbit guy came and was very angry at us. The teenagers ran away. He brought out a wand and started throwing fire at us. I told him how we were looking for Baku and Greyson and could we search his crates please? But he was just angry and attacking us, he also said that he paid good money for them, which incriminated him in my mind, so I attacked him. Luna was knocked out, possibly dead from the fire damage. He took no notice of me, probably thought I was dead too, and took Luna and tried to put her in a crate! I attacked him some more and he fell down. I wanted to kill him! KILL KILL!! Then after he was dead and I realized I was wounded I crawled inside his place an slept on his bed.

In the morning I woke up with my skin and clothes all burned up and falling off me. It was very painful, and I couldn’t even walk. I planned on crawling to Kendra, and then when she healed me we could come back for Luna and heal her and then find Greyson and Baku in the crates. But as I was crawling slowly out the door, a gloved hand offered me help. I took it and got up. It was Bob, or the guy who didn’t want a name. I called him noname. He took me to Kendra and she healed me. She was very worried. We got the stuff all packed and the puppies who were wining about Luna, and then we went back to the rabbit vendor’s place. I got Luna out of the crate he ha put her in and I put her in the cart to rest until we could heal her. Then we opened the warehouse to look for Baku and Greyson. I let the puppies and opened the rabbit cages and closed the doors to let the puppies eat some of his rabbits. We looked through the crates and found Baku and Greyson in the same one with broken bones, and Greyson’s forearm was missing. I took them gently out of the crate and put them in the cart. I broke the crates and the bunny cages. I looked for Greyson’s arm, but couldn’t find it. He probably fed it to his psychotic bunnies. We got everyone in the cart and I was so grateful to Noname. We traveled to the Mishakel temple and got healed. Greyson even found a guy to bring his arm back. Baku wanted to go back burn that place down. Everyone agreed that revenge was in order. Luna and I however had terrible burn scars all over, and our faces were all melted looking, and people might scream when they see us we look so terrible. The Mishakel people said that the Zivilyn people might be able to heal our skin and make us look normal again. We needed to recuperate and I needed to make some more armor, and replace all of Baku and Greyson’s gear.

2/21/09

We left Gillian and proceeded to Atar. But Baku wanted to go back and check the spot for the wand again first, so before going too far, we went back and checked, and it wasn’t in that spot we remembered from the last time when we found the wand. On our way to Atar there was a 10 gold toll, and a random guy walking by pad it for us so he could get a ride with us to Atar. His name was Sammy. We got to Atar finally. Luna and Greyson were asleep. Baku went to the temple of Syrian, Jessica went to the temple of Mishakel, and I started asking people if they were or they knew about any healers who would come with us and heal us for free. Then Sammy reminded me that no one was guarding the cart, so I went back and asked people who walked by the cart about healing. I wondered about the Arena that they had told us about in the tour. There was a gladiator guy walking by so I asked him about it , and he said he got 500 gold from the arena. Sammy said that he thought the wand we were looking for was the item stolen in the temple of Mishakel in Starwater. They wanted us to go Aragorn to look for mercenaries that might have been hired to steal it. After a week and three days we got to Aragorn. We went to the Mishakel temple there and they had a list of people they didn’t like. We then went and looked at Perfectly Legitimate Business Enterprises PLBE a mercenary guild. But they couldn’t help us find who might have been hired to steal the wand or other magical items from the temple of Mishakel near Starwater. We then saw Silent Bob, the trader guy trading a ruby. We talked to him about where the purple rock came from and talked about the seer and the mystical jar that could hold the mythal that would help us kill Mickey.

Then we went to the church of Gillian, which was near to the Fort Berrek remains. We decided to go check the mercenary camp of people we’d met before near where the wand was supposed to be because they might have had the wand. So we looked and there were the scorch marks and it looked as if Fenris had already been here and killed them. We looked for the spear that had the wand in it, but it had been broken and the wand wasn’t there. The tracks led no where sop we couldn’t follow Fenris. I looked for a secret door in the trees. We wondered if the magic jar was still under the lake by Crescent Mountain. We traveled there and looked at the lake. There were two naked girls in the lake splashing each other. We asked if they had seen the big green magic jar, but they hadn’t.  Then Baku and I noticed a big boulder. We pushed it out of the way, and it had been covering an entrance to an underground cave. It was dark, so I got a torch. There were scorch marks on the walls. I checked the place for the jar, but it wasn’t there. While I was down there Baku left to go track the person who had last left the cave. I came out after a while of searching, and I wondered where everyone had gone. I talked to the naked girls a little bit. Then I went to go see if Crescent Mountain was the same. At one of the mountain cliffs Baku and the others with the cart came and got me and told me they had found the jar.

The next thing we planned to do was go to the Wolven territory to get the Mythal to put into the jar. It would take us four weeks to get there. We stopped in Serenity on the way to see Kendra. She wasn’t ready to go with us yet though. She said she had a few more months to go in her training. November was when she would graduate and it was barely August. Then we kept going and got to the edge of Wolven territory in the area closest to the Mythal. I wanted to wave a white flag and talk to the Wolven be their friends like last time so that they wouldn’t have to attack us and get hurt, but Baku said no, and he was going to sneak in. It normally took like three days to get in to where the mythal is from the border, but it might’ve taken him longer because he had to be sneaky. I kept waving my flag, but Luna woke up from her coma to tell me not to do that. So I stopped and sulked. After a few days Baku came back with the jar filled with mythal. He also had like three Wolven javelins stuck in him. He was near to death, so we stuck him on the cart and went as fast and as safely as we could to the nearest town. It would take a week to get to Serenity. On the way there we saw Anric the priest of Hiddukal who Baku had killed last time because Luna told him to. He saw how Baku was in bad shape and offered to heal him for 4,000 gold. I remembered him and before he told us the amount told him that we wouldn’t be able to pay him because I knew that he always charges bunches of money. He seemed surprised because he didn’t remember us, but whatever, and we kept going our ways.

We got to Serenity and took Baku to Hattie the Mishakel priestess. She healed him. Our next thing we were supposed to do was go get information from the Oracle in Evelen to find out where Mickey’s phylacterie is. So it took us two weeks to get there from Serenity. They checked our weapons at the gate and everything. We went into Serenity and then to their temple where they were having mass. I talked to the priest and he wouldn’t acknowledge that there was an oracle in the city. Then I got kicked out. I suggested our next action might be to go to the Ice Mountains maybe or the Isle of Liars? Jessica and Sammy wanted to go where we had found the purple rock, so it took a week and a day and we got lost. It was nighttime when we saw the Seer pointing to a branch in the forest. I noticed and went to pull the branch. A secret door opened in a tree. We went down the stairs and found multiple pedestals with a golden orb, the cursed book that killed Buttercup, a longbow, a shortbow, a longsword, a shortsword, brass knuckles, boot attachments, and I’m not sure if there was anything else. We didn’t know if Fenris had come and cursed these items yet or not because we didn’t have the wand to see visions of the past. The weapons of Destiny! The seer popped up again and told us to use these weapons and to find the third sanctum which is by Darrokin and to get the keystone.

So we went to the Ice Mountains. I carried Baku so that the cart wouldn’t be crowded. Sammy and Jessica woke up then and could walk on their own. We need the keystone from Obald the kobald who was in charge of the goblin army that Lakyer took over. So Sammy bought some winter gear and we continued. We stopped by Serenity on our way to Hidelberg which is in the mountains. We left the cart, horse and the puppies in Hidelberg and paid them to take care of them for a month. Then we went up the mountain.

I killed a rabbit on the way so we could offer the Polar Owl Bear some victuals so it might let us through its cave. That’s what Kendra did last time and it was way easier than trying to kill it. We lit some torches and went into the cave. I heard a growl from deeper in so I threw the rabbit forward in that general direction. But the rabbit wasn’t getting eaten. I went up to get the rabbit, and maybe offer the Owl Bear the rabbit from a closer distance. It charged me, so I dropped the rabbit and took out one of my swords. When it was close and attacking me I stabbed it, and it clawed me. Sammy was behind me and wanted to hit it too, but there was no room. I went beserk after it hit me a few times and killed it. Sammy watched and might have been impressed. I needed a crutch then to walk around. We went back in the cave where the Owl Bear had been living and heard some chirping. Sammy who was in front with a torch slipped over the dead rabbit. We found a nest and a baby Polar Owl Bear. We kept going in and came to a hallway then to a 20 foot square room and a corpse. I checked the arrow in it. The arrow was made by humans and the dead person was human too. We checked for traps, and stuff. We got to a wooden door. Sammy tried to open it, then I kicked it, then Jessica tried, and she broke it. We went through. There was a hallway with arrow slots, but no one in the side hallways to shoot the arrows. We then came to a portcullis that was only sorta shut, there was three feet of space between its bottom and the floor, so we crawled under it. Then after some hallways and turnings we came to a big metal door with bars that was locked. I used a crowbar to open it. There were lots of dead bodies lying around. The door led to a large room with columns and strings attached to spears as a trap. But the strings were really strong and we couldn’t cut them, and the spears were really fast so I couldn’t grab them. Last time we’d been here we had Kendra and the ogres and this was where Kendra kissed Baku. The ogres had removed the metal door, and we had used that and a great pushing force with the ogres help to break enough strings to get through. I looked for a sledgehammer, but didn’t find one. I took the broken wooden door to the big trap room and then I looked for secret doors while they tried to disarm the traps.

1/24/09

Greyson had passed out. We picked him up and went back outside to put him in the cart. Jessica, who had been sleeping in the cart, woke up, and came back with us down in the tunnels. I took some rocks with us incase there were more secret doors we needed to prop up. The weight also felt good in my hands. We lit up our torches and then went down the passageways. At some point in the maze I heard a hacking growl. Then the walls closed in and there was no exit. There was a Wight coming. I tried to hit it with my swords, one missed, the other hit. Then it scratched me. Baku lit it on fire as it lay on the ground incapacitated, then he bandaged me. We sat there for a while watching the Wight burn. The doors opened up and we went down some more hallways. After passing a room Jessica commented that the walls were curved and the maze was probably circular. We came to a T shaped hallway. On the left were two Wights coming, and on the right there was one. Baku went to fight the one on the right and I went to fight those on the left. Luna tried to shoot the ones I was fighting, but missed and hit me. The Wights were also beating me up and I went berserk. Then I got hurt too bad and was knocked out, killed. I had killed one of the Wights by then and injured the other.

After the battle they put me in the cart and drove back to the village. I woke up in the tower that the old adventurer guy lives in. He had used a magic scroll to bring me back. The other cart and mule had gotten smashed on the way here and they had gotten attacked by elves.  There was also a risk of me turning into a Wight if they didn’t bring me back within 24 hours. I had to drink a yucky potion. We planned on going back to find out about the elves and the conflict here. I wanted to have some plate mail to protect me better. I checked around and the hobbits had a forge. They said they were low on coal, so I wouldn’t be able to get the fire hot enough. So I borrowed an axe and went out to the forest to chop some wood so we could have some coal. Then I got hit by something and knocked out. Baku had been following me and he carried me back to the little village.  I had gotten a skull fracture from the tree hitting me. Apparently there were Treants in that forest, and instead of asking me to stop cutting the tree, it just wacked me. When I woke up my head hurt badly. They told me I had to rest for a while before going back out or doing anything. Baku ranted and wanted to burn the forest to get this over with and kill the elves who were causing so many problems. I told him to dig a trench around the town to stop the fire from getting in here. But if the wind is strong, it won’t help. Baku went out to the forest. Luna went with him. When they came back Baku was shot with an Elven arrow. Luna helped bring him back. We talked about visiting Henwen who is a druid and getting her to heal us. We also realized that Henwen wasn’t being attacked by the elves. I suggested that we could have her go talk to the elves since they weren’t hostile towards her. Luna and Jessica went to go talk to Henwen. Baku and I were too wounded to travel. Bummer.

Three days later Henwen came to the village. She healed me and then had trouble healing Baku much because apparently Zivilyn one of the gods hates him. Henwen I realized was like a hermit and didn’t like to talk to people. She just wanted to sit at her shrines praying all the time and not actually doing anything or helping anyone. That confused me, because most priests I knew, especially druids were eager to affect change in the world. She wasn’t like a real druid, more of a religious hermit. We talked to people and the old adventurer’s name was Dicen. He said that the horseman came in about a month ago, looking for something, then he went away, and the elves started  attacking. Then the horseman started attacking as well. The Wight maze place we had been exploring was a dead warlord’s tower who had fought a great war with dragons and the elves had been allies. Also the standing stones in the village were supposed to be magical in some way and he had created them or something. Jessica went around and talked to Eli and Tully. Then she took Baku back to Henwen because he was still hurt. We decided we would have to go back to the Wight dungeon to find out stuff. The villagers were starving and dying. I told them to go to Henwen for help, because as a priest she should have been helping these people. The people were too afraid to leave though. Baku was complaining about returning, so Tully offered to come and help us. She also kept insulting Baku to “put him in his place”. Off we went. There were some arrows from the elves. I put my helmet on and we kept going. We yelled out to them, and Luna even yelled at them in Elvish, but they didn’t say anything back.

We got to the Barrow (Wight maze) and went through the secret doors. Down we went back to the place we had left off. Luckily the whole time Luna had been keeping a map. Then we went past that area to a passageway with a Wight in it. Baku was in front and he could use his fists on the Wight. Tully had us all move further back down the hallway to a place where it was easier to maneuver with swords. Then we totally destroyed the Wight that Baku had sent down the hall after softening it up. There was even a second one that we also destroyed. Teamwork in action. We went farther, turned and came to an interesting room. Baku was trying to check for traps. He was taking too long so I walked around stomping my feet, and there seemed to be no traps. Then we went down another hallway to a pool of dust. A Wight was coming out of it. We all backed up to the area with more room so we could fight it. Baku hit it, I went forward and Luna came back behind me. I wacked at it with my swords. After we left it Baku set it on fire. We went through some more twists and turns came to an area that had fresher air and then went back to where we’d burned a Wight. Luna directed us and we came to a new area and I found a secret door, but it was fake. That made me sad. Then we came to a big room with a sarcophagus. There were inlaid designs on the walls like at the entrance. I poked the coffin. Then I tried to open it with a crowbar to see if there was anything inside it. There was no body inside it. It looked crystal clean, never used. Maybe they had lost the body that was supposed to go inside, and buried the coffin anyway. So, with my curiosity satisfied, I figured we should put the lid back on.

Then something was coming down the stairs. It attacked Baku and Jessica who were at the stairs. Luna shot at it and suggested we put the lid back on the coffin. The guy is some tall knight guy wearing platemail and apparently super strong. I didn’t have time to put the lid back on. Luna handed me sand to throw in the guy’s eyes, but he had a good protective helmet and I’m not sure if any got through. Tully yelled out that he was the horseman. I tried to go wack him, but I accidentally stepped on Jessica on the way, even though I had tried to avoid her. I also failed to hit the knight. Tully was able to hit him. Then Luna called out that there were Wights coming in from the hallways. The Wights were coming close. I was backing into them when the knight scared me for a moment and I panicked and ran away. Straight into the Wights. I wasn’t even aware of them, I pushed right past them and over Luna and Jessica. The hallway kept leading back to the room with the knight so I circled all scared for a while. Baku talked to the knight, and we stopped fighting, and the Wights were called off. He had just been angry that we had pulled the lid off of his coffin, and he said that he was the dead guy from hundreds of years ago who had had the Elves as allies against the dragons. Jessica had been sorely wounded, with her guts outside of her. Baku or Luna tried to bandage her as best they could. We talked to the knight about the elves and the horseman and he told us what he could.

Then we left the barrow. On the way to the village I wanted to use our survival skills to get some food for the people. We found apple and banana trees. We stopped the wagon and I went and climbed and picked a bunch of fruit. The others helped carry it back to the cart. Then a houba creature like the one Henwen had as a pet came out and talked to me. I was friendly, and gave it a fruit. The other people were talking about the new information we had about the stones in the village and how they could transform animals into people. As I was bringing one big bunch of bananas to the cart one of the houbas (more had appeared) jumped on my shoulder and covered my eyes. It said “Guess who?” in this squirrely voice. I guessed that it was Houba, and then some random names, and after three tries it disqualified me by biting me on the neck! Then the other houbas also jumped on me and they started to feast on me like a bunch of leaches. Baku told me to drop the fruit. I pulled out my knives to cut them because they were too close for my swords. I stabbed the one on my neck. It felt like they were poisoning me. Baku threw food at them. Not very helpful. I couldn’t see where I was going and I ran into a tree. I was trying to follow Baku’s voice. Then they all dropped off me when I ran into the tree. I could see then and I ran to the cart. They attacked me again, but weren’t really hurting me. I tried to hurt them and get them off, but they were too strong, nothing seemed to hurt them, like they were werewolves or something. There were bite marks all over me by now. I was getting sleepy then, tired, maybe from blood loss, or their poison. My armor was getting all ripped up too. I was able to grab the one on my neck and pull it off. Tully used her nice shiny sword that she had found out side the barrow along time ago to cut at the houbas on me. I was holding the one I’d gotten off, and had a sudden crazy thought that maybe spit would hurt them, so I spit on it. It didn’t seem to help. Everyone was trying to help me. Luna grabbed the one I was holding, and I tried to get another one off me. Baku was using a torch to poke the ones still on me. Jessica was throwing apples. I got all bitten to shreds. I was immobilized and wanted to go to sleep. Baku wanted to throw the food out, but I didn’t think they were after the food. They obviously thought I was way more tasty than apples or bananas. Then they jumped off me since I couldn’t hurt them anymore and the jumped for Baku. The others beat the houbas and everyone got in the cart and we went back to the village.

I was bleeding, but Baku bandaged me up. My blood was all over the fruit, but the people were happy to have it. Baku had wanted to get rid of it, but I insisted (because I knew) that messed up food was better than no food. I had been homeless and starving before, so I knew that bloody fruit was not that bad. We went to Henwen the next day for her to heal us. Jessica got healed first because she had gotten injured first. Many days passed for us to get healed. Dison then came by. He had been updated by Tully who had gone back to him. Baku and the others were trying to blame the Elf conspiracy on him. I thought that their accusations were totally unfounded and exhaustion was making them accuse anyone who wasn’t dying. I was personally found of the idea that it was Henwen’s houba who was pretending to be just an animal when really it had secret plans to dominate all of us and suck us dry.

We went back to the village to maybe save some people. I wanted to put people in covered wagons and cart them out and protect them on the way so they wouldn’t get killed by the Elves. But the people were too scared. I gave them my rations because I knew I could get nutrition from most anything and didn’t really need the rations. Luna and I then wanted to go investigate the other ring of stones to the south where apparently teenagers used to go to fornicate. On the way we saw a large tree that had been stripped of bark and burned. Luna said that it had been a dryad tree. We moved on, but then the trees moved to enclose us. We maneuvered around them. It was getting dark. It was night when Luna saw a dead person, an elf. Then she pointed out other dead elves, they had been dead for months. There was also at least one dead human too. I wondered how they had died. We checked the bodies. Some had been cut up, some burst from the inside, some burned, some brains were bashed, and there was an Elven arrow in the human head.

We decided to make camp for the night and we would see things better in the daylight. As we were setting up the group tent a houba visited. I immediately went into the tent wrapped in my bed roll. I left my armor on just in case. Then everyone was leaving and we had to leave the tent behind. One of the houbas latched onto Baku’s hand. We traveled, not knowing the direction. Baku was able to knock the thing off by banging it against the cart which is made of wood. Ah ha! So the little buggers were allergic to wood! Baku went crazy on the houba and then he passed out. We came back to the town and gave them the houba that Baku had killed to eat. But they could cut it. I told them to use wooden knives. We went back to Henwen and she healed Baku a little. We left again and found the tent on the way to the stones. It was daytime this time. There were five big stones around a small glade. There were writings on the stones in druid language, just like the stones in the village.

An arrow shot past us. Luna called out to the Elves in Elvish. We surrendered our weapons. The Elves came out to talk to Luna, and only Luna because she spoke their language. After they talked some Luna turned and told us that the sorcerer Dison and the Catwoman Tully and a few other people had killed some elves and burned the trees.

We went to bury the people in that area with all the dead people. Then we went to where the elves told Luna to find the Horseman’s body to bury it and set it at rest. We got to this swampy area and then the horseman appeared behind us and then disappeared. We looked for his body, but could find it. I was looking at the water, and it looked bloody. I tasted some to see if it really was bloody, and it tasted like vomit. Baku searched the pond and found the body. Jessica told us how to bury him with god rites and stuff.

We got food in the forest for the villagers on the way back. When we got back Dison talked to us and was happy that we had gotten rid of the horseman. We didn’t do anything about Dison and Tully yet because Henwen might be in on it with them and we needed her to heal us first. We brought the food to the villagers and four days passed while we got healed. Then we would go kill the sorcerer Dison and Tully the Catwoman as the elves called her.

It is September 5th. We decided to go to the Shinare temple where last time we found dead people who had been killed by the goblins. We got there after one and a half days. We saw some people outside fighting with their fists, practicing. They weren’t dead, yeah! We warned them about the goblin army. We found the temple master named Steve and told him about what we knew, and the artifacts the goblins would steal. He wanted to talk about this in secret in his office in the temple. We talked and he believed us. We tried to come up with a plan to save them. We decided they would have to move their location. Baku, Luna and the others went scouting and left me behind. I watched the Shinare people practice beating each other up. I laughed at some of the things they did. The others were gone for two days. I practiced my bow. Steve and the Shinare people took the artifacts and were leaving. They thanked us for the warning. Next we planned to go to the ice mountains where the eagle messenger town was and warn them about the goblin army who were going to make their base in those caves in the mountains. It took about two weeks to get there. We saw merchants on the way. The name of the town was Heidelberg. We went to go see the mayor. Greyson filled out a form to give to the mayor detailing danger that was coming. We decided to make some money. We looked and found that two caravans needed guards. One was leaving that day and going to Fort Landmilk the place near the western coast close to the Isle of Liars. That would take eight days. The other one was leaving in a week, and going to Atar and would take three weeks. We decided to go to Atar. But first we wanted to find Kendra the Kind so that she could heal us when we got hurt. Last time we found her in the town of Serenity, so we went there.

It was only two days away from Heidelberg. It looked like a nice refuge city, they accepted all sorts here. It was multi leveled and in the trees. There were a few elves. We went to the assistant mayor’s office, but it was just his secretary there. Greyson wasn’t with us so we had to go look for him and get him to come up so we could give the secretary the diplomatic letter from Fort Barrek. After talking to the secretary we found out that the mayor was gone on vacation or something. I wanted to look for Kendra, so I got directions to the temple of Branchala. That temple’s people had a reputation for partying. When I got there, there was a concert of about 40 musicians. I asked around for Kendra. Eventually I was directed to the tavern. The other party members were coming with me. We saw her with a cart full of booze coming back to the Branchala party. We asked her if she would be our healer, but she said that she wasn’t a healer yet, and she had to get anointed by the temple or something, and that it would probably take a year for that to happen. Talking to her, I remembered why I didn’t really like her. She thought that the gods are real, and she wanted to convince us of how real they are with only her opinion as evidence. We went back to the party and looked around the temple. We found Gary, an older muscular man who was in charge. Then we left and went back to Heidelberg to escort the caravan going to Atar.

There were only four of us, so they had another guard with us. His name was Azurem, and he was a dark knight of Nuitari. When we went past Kupponell, the caravan leaders realized that the first time they had paid the toll for the road it had been very clever bandits dressed as toll guards. So they sent us back to get their money from the bandits. They fake guards had covered their tracks, but Luna was able to find them. We left the cart to follow through the trees. We were being sneaky, and then Luna told us to stop. We stopped and we could see some bandits from where we were. Or at least the others could, I couldn’t spot anything, but I could hear them beating up some girl. We separated and spread out to cover the bandit camp. I was going to the opposite side to distract the bandits. Luna and Baku were going behind them. The bandits had hostages. I tried to sneak forward. Then the bandits were getting shot. It was time to fight. I stopped sneaking as an arrow went right over my head. I yelled out at the bandits that we were going to kill them unless they surrendered. They didn’t surrender. One of the guys ran away though. I went to attack them as two guys ran at me. I hit them pretty hard. Then they hit me so bad I fell down and couldn’t get back up. Azurem was doing well in my place though.

When they were all done Baku tended to the wounded and helped me too. We fed the people the pie that we had had in the cart to try to lure out the bandits. The people that had been hostages that we rescued were from Morgand and were on their way to Kupponell to sell their swords and shields. We then went back to the caravan with all of the people and one of the bandits to witness. We got the stash of money from the bandits too. The people we dropped off at Kupponell and then continued on to Atar. We got paid when we reached Atar. Then they found a healer for me. A Mishakel priest named Piza. She asked me how I got hurt, and I told her, and then she healed me. She healed the other people who were hurt too.

In the morning we were going to take the tour of Atar. We set up tents to sleep in and checked out the mercenary guilds. The slicklickers (or something, I can’t remember what they were called) laughed at us for not being famous enough. The Red Shirts were friendly and agreed that we probably would not get in the city through them. I saw the guy who had sent us on the Owl Bear mission the first time had visited this place with Bones, Chad, and Zach. Anyway, the Red Shirts told us to go to Ossington which is near Crescent Mountain. They wanted us to have a group names. At first we were the Metroids, then I suggested the Chainsaw, a saw so strong it could cut through chains…

In the morning we took the tour. They told us all about Atar the guy who had founded the city, and about its history. We asked some questions and got escorted away because we were supposed to wait until the end of the tour to ask questions. They held us until the tour was over, and then returned us to the group. The guard who was supposed to pull us aside who knew the seer, didn’t. I asked my questions about the city, and then we left. We traveled to Ossington. It took five days. The forest was so thick it was like a jungle with the sounds of birds and monkeys in the background. On the fifth day there was a commotion up ahead. There was a rundown guy getting chased around the corner in the trail up ahead towards us. He was screaming and running. There was a guy in platemail behind him on horseback who chopped down the guy he was chasing and then ran through Baku and into the trees. Literally through. We checked the guy he had knocked down and he is definitely dead, hacked through his lung and shoulder. Further along we found a dead woman, probably killed by the same guy. There was a cart with a driver also dead. The mule attached  to it however was fine. We put the dead people into the cart, and Luna drove the mule with us towards Ossington.

We came upon a farm on the way with a dead horse In the field. Baku and Greyson went to check it out. Baku brought me the arrow that was in the horse’s head. I could tell it was an Elven arrow. Baku and Greyson went into the farmhouse and ate some of their gruel. The farmer guy inside seemed to think everything was fine. The daughter however told them they were starving and asked for help. The elves had attacked them, and the horseman killed anyone who tried to leave, like her mother. On the way in to the town we saw a chapel. Baku went to go check it out. I checked the yard which had little six in deep imprints here and there that seemed to have no significance. Then I went in to  the church. It had god shrines all around the  walls, and the ceiling was just barely too short for me. There was a woman kneeling at one of the shrines and was talking to Baku. She said that she liked to be by herself, she wasn’t worried that the town seemed to have a lot of dead people. She also though that we should prepare our souls, as if for death. I asked her if she could heal people, and she said yes. But she didn’t seem to be willing to leave her vigil. She said that she liked it there. Her name was Henwen, and the thing on her should she called a houba, and it sometimes would repeat what people said, like parrots do. She suggested we go talk to Elder Murros in the town proper.

We kept travelling and got to the town. We came to a circle of standing stones after a bunch of stones had bordered the path way in. There was another circle of stones inside the outer circle. There were cottages, and we had come to the village. There were abandoned fields where people should have been working, but it was all dead. There were people walking around doing mundane tasks. They came to gather around us, wondering what was up. They all were wearing peasant clothes and looked starving. We left the cart with the bodies with them to claim their dead, and the box of silver and copper that Baku had found in the cart. We then went to talk to the elder. He told us that the elves have been killing people since the horseman came around. He was going to tell us where to go to find the elves and place a marker on our map when he got shot! It was from an Elven arrow. I ducked, but they didn’t seem to be shooting anything more. Baku checked the elder and he had been shot in the heart and wasn’t able to mark the place on our map. Then an owl and some hawks came swooping down. Luna saw an elf up on a hill. Baku used a blanket on the birds to stop them from hurting us. We tried to shoot the elves with our bows, Luna and I, but they ran away.

An old man and woman with a sword came running out of one of the houses to go get the elves. We talked to them, his name was Dison and was an old adventurer, and the woman was Tully, his guard that he hired. They told us what they knew about the elves, and he was able to place the mark on our map without getting hit by the elves. We said good day to them and went to find the place marked on the map. On our way there we found another dead villager with an Elven arrow in him. It took us an hour to walk there. It got dark and turned to nighttime. There were blue thorny bushes that looked poisonous. Baku got a sample. We came to a hill with a dark tunnel leading into it. Baku lit his torch and lantern. Greyson went at the back with the torch, Baku in the front with the lantern. It looked like a stone tomb, there were spiral carvings on the walls. There was a really old dead body with newer broken chainmail. I took some of the chainmail to add to my repair kit for when my armor got broken. In the chamber we all looked for secret doors. Baku showed us three secret doors that he had found that all led downward to the same place. We walked down the stairs to a small antechamber with the smell of death. We could see two passages, one went up, and one went down. Then Baku found another secret door leading down. We went in the secret door, down the stairs. We heard an ominous moan from down the hallway. It was the moan of a Wight said Luna who knows stuff about monsters.  Then we heard it sniffing, and it was coming for us. We backed up some to plan something. Wights are bad they steal your memories and skills. Baku decided to burn the Wight and then push it down the stairs. We backed up to the top of the stairs, and he spilled lantern oil all over the stairs.  We waited for it to come, and then he lit the oil on fire. It kept coming up. Baku was trying to kick it. I tried to throw a rock at it. Then I kicked it too, and its chest exploded and it fell down the stairs. We went back thou the door away from the fire. We closed the secret door, and went to another door. We went down the other stairs. It first went down, and then it went up. It led to a room thirty feet square. We then went through the next hallway and turned right and went straight. Then we turned right again and downward, then right again. Like a downward square spiral. It was October 26th.
